Totally Non-Scary Things That Have Inexplicably Spooked Our Cats: ICanHasCheezburger Edition

Well, for this week's challenge, we have decided to celebrate one of our cats' sillier sides. We've celebrated their cuteness, their wholesomeness, their weirdness and even their as*holery, but we have yet to celebrate their dumber moments. That's why we asked you guys to tell us about some non-scary unexpected things that have spooked your cats. Like, we already know that cats get mildly startled by nothing at all and that - mostly likely - cats are constantly going through mild existential crises just because they can obviously see things that we cannot. But just how silly can the things that spook them be? Well, you guys have proved that they can be a lot more ridiculous than we expected.

"I keep a couple of throws on the couch and one of them was folded up under the other one. It was sticking our from under it and the edge was rolled up in a weird way.
All of the sudden my kitty, Magic, was creeping up on it from the floor and reached up and started beating the crap out of it like he was killing it!
I was sitting on the end of the couch and it scared me because I thought he was really killing something!"

"He is scared of having anything like clothes on (including a harness), when the kierig machine is running, running water, my son's and his gf's bedroom, children, other cats, noise in the hall, the hallway in general, new ppl, my daughter, really anyone other than me most of the time and being caught lacking lol. By lacking I mean he tries to make talking motions with his mouth and walk on twos and when he gets caught falling back to all 4 paws he gets startled. Lol. He's scared of literally everything. This is him spooked as a sunflower"
